With over 25 years experience in
the road planing industry we have become one of the largest contractors and
suppliers of tarmac planings in Wales.
We have evolved with the industry to provide a service that exceeds all expectations.
All our lorries are fitted with the latest technology required for maximum safety and efficiency. Our lorries are fitted with reversing and body cameras, reversing beepers, beacons, easy sheets, and experienced drivers!
Our drivers are fully trained in accordance with the industry guidelines. Drivers are supplied with full PPE, including high visibility trousers and vests.
We are happy to serve some of the biggest and best planing companies in the UK.
Road Planings
Road planings (tarmac planings) are a by-product of the process of road resurfacing. When an old road is resurfaced, the old tarmac is cold milled straight into the lorry from a planing machine.
Road planings are an ideal and cheaper alternative to quarry stone. Planings are a fraction of the price of quarry stone, and actually make better roads and driveways.
Planings will bind together once laid, to produce a durable but free draining surface. For maximum benefit, the surface should be rolled to compact the material.
The use of Road planings is recommended by the Environment Agency, and is also environmentally friendly, as it minimises waste from the construction of roads.
We deliver road planing in 6 or 8 wheel tipper lorries, with loads of 16- 20 tonnes respectively.
We deliver direct from the road, or from stock.
